February 25th Town Hall Summary
First Town Hall
February 25th; 10:15 a.m. in Youth Room (basement of Grace House)
In this meeting, I will share my understanding of the history of the conversations and solicit your feedback. Together we will shape a vision for the future. 80% Listening, 20% Visioning.
Focus: Thinking about strategic use of service times (for long-time members and newcomers).
How: We will use the white board, as well as newsprint. Whatever I hear will be transferred to big sheets of newsprint that will stay up for months and will be compiled digital. ‘Post-Its’ to be available. Whenever Grace House is open, people can post comment on the boards.
Survey: (After February 25th) An email survey will go out in early March.
We are working on survey questions now. Please let Todd know one question that you feel is critical for the survey. There is no guarantee we will directly use the question, but all feedback will inform the process. firstname.lastname@example.org
Results from February 25th Town Hall will also go into the March issue of Tidings. After survey results come in, we will send out a special email communication summarizing the results (mid-March). One or two draft schedules will be circulating by mid-March.
Second Town Hall
March 25th T 10:15 a.m. in Overby (first floor of Grace House) (This is Palm Sunday)
Focus: Summarize feedback and crystallize a draft schedule.
April 29th 10:15 a.m. in Overby (first floor of Grace House)
May 20th. Pentecost Sunday is usually a combined service. If we change the schedule, Pentecost Sunday would be the last Sunday before embarking on a new schedule.
