In addition to the regular Sunday services, there are several special celebrations and services held at St. Timothy's. These include: The Feast of the Epiphany – normally held on January 6th, the eve of the Epiphany, in remembrance of the arrival of the magi in Bethlehem. This includes a service at 5:00 P.M. followed by a pot-luck dinner and the drawing of “Epiphany Tokens” which bear certain pastoral duties for the coming year. |  | Ash Wednesday – the beginning of the Lenten Season, there are services with imposition of ashes at 12 noon and 7:30 P.M.

Stations of the Cross – services are every Friday during Lent at 12 noon in the Meditation Garden. Holy Week – services are held every evening at 7:30 the week following Palm Sunday including the Service of Reconciliation on Wednesday; foot washing on Maundy Thursday; multi-media Stations of the Cross at 12 noon, Children’s Stations at 3 P.M. and 7:30 service on Good Friday; ending with the Great Vigil of Easter at 7:30 on Saturday. Great Vigil of Easter – the celebration of the first Eucharist of Easter at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday of Holy Week. Feast of the Ascension – held on the 40th day after Easter Sunday in celebration of the Ascension of Jesus into heaven. This includes a service at 6:30 P.M. followed by a pot-luck dinner. Feast of Pentecost – held on the 8th Sunday after Easter Sunday in celebration of the gift of the Holy Spirit to the Church. This includes one service at 10 A.M. outdoors on the patio followed by a catered lunch and fun festival for kids of all ages. Welcome Home Sunday – held on the 2nd Sunday of September. This includes one service at 10 A.M. outdoors on the patio followed by a catered lunch, Ministry Fair and fun festival for kids of all ages. Feast of St. Francis and Blessing of the Animals -- held at 3 P.M. on the Sunday nearest the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi (October 4th). This includes a short service on the patio followed by the blessing of pets. All animals are welcome. |
