Acorns and Oaks  (Ages 0-5)

Acorns and Oaks is a play and fellowship group for children infant through pre-kindergarten and their caregivers. Each weekly gathering includes playtime and a chapel experience. The group meets on Mondays during the school year at 4:00 at the Noah’s Ark playground and joins Emmaus for chapel from 5:30 to 6:00 in the church.

Emmaus Elementary Youth Group  (Grades K-5)

Emmaus is a combined fellowship, choir and teaching program for children grades Kindergarten through 5. The group meets on Monday afternoons during the school year from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Meetings include fellowship, choir rehearsal, program and chapel. Chapel is led by St. Timothy’s clergy. Children are encouraged to take leadership roles in the chapel service by reading, leading prayers, acolyting and ushering.

Emmaus sings at one Sunday service (either 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.) approximately every six weeks during the school year, and on Christmas Eve and Easter Day.

Good News Hour - Sunday School  (Grades PreK - 6th)

Good News Hour is for children preschool through sixth grade and is held on Sunday mornings from 10:10 to 10:50 during the school year. Children learn the foundation of their faith and tradition through Bible stories, activities, art and celebration.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word  (All ages are welcome!)

Every Sunday, St. Timothy’s provides a worship service geared specifically to the needs of young children. The Children’s Liturgy of the Word is held in the Overby Conference Room on the first floor of Grace House. Children and adults are invited to come directly to the conference room at 9:00. At the conclusion of the service we process as a group to the main church building and join that congregation for the celebration of Holy Communion.

Acolyte Guild  (Grade 4 - Adult)
[Click Here] for the Acolytes Guide

For those who enjoy being part of the action, St. Timothy’s Acolyte Guild provides an excellent opportunity to be an active participant in the worship service. The Acolyte Guild includes acolytes (torch bearers) and crucifers. Training sessions occur throughout the year.

Seasonal Festivals

With crafts, teaching, and resources for home use, seasonal festivals heighten our awareness of and participation in the rhythms of Christian life. Festivals include Advent, All Saints, Baptism, and Day of Preparation (Palm Sunday). These events are open to all parishioners.

Vacation Bible Camp

The Bible comes alive at St. Timothy’s during Vacation Bible Camp, a fun-filled week of summer day camp for children pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5. Using stories, crafts, music and games children learn about God and Christian life through the stories of the Bible.
