Acorns and Oaks (Ages 0-5)
Acorns and Oaks is a play and fellowship group for children infant through pre-Kindergarten and their caregivers. Each weekly gathering includes playtime and a chapel experience. The group meets on Mondays during the school year at 4:00 at the Noah’s Ark playground and joins Emmaus for chapel from 5:30 to 6:00 in the church.
Emmaus Elementary Youth Group (Kindergarten-5th Grade)
Emmaus is a combined fellowship, choir and teaching program for children grades Kindergarten through 5. The group meets on Monday afternoons during the school year from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Meetings include fellowship, choir rehearsal, program and chapel. Chapel is led by St. Timothy’s clergy. Children are encouraged to take leadership roles in the chapel service by reading, leading prayers, acolyting and ushering. Emmaus sings at one Sunday service (either 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.) approximately every six weeks during the school year, and on Christmas Eve and Easter Day.
Good News Hour (Preschool-6th Grade)
Good News Hour is for children preschool through sixth grade and is held on Sunday mornings from 10:10 to 10:50 during the school year. Children learn the foundation of their faith and tradition through Bible stories, activities, art and celebration.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word (all ages are welcome!)
Every Sunday, St. Timothy’s provides a worship service geared specifically to the needs of young children. The Children’s Liturgy of the Word is held in the Overby Conference Room on the first floor of Grace House. Children and adults are invited to come directly to the conference room at 9:00.
