In addition to the regular Sunday services, there are several special celebrations and services held at St. Timothy's. These include: The Feast of the Epiphany – normally held on January 6th, the eve of the Epiphany, in remembrance of the arrival of the magi in Bethlehem. This includes a service at 5:00 P.M. followed by a pot-luck dinner and the drawing of “Epiphany Tokens” which bear certain pastoral duties for the coming year. | | Ash Wednesday – the beginning of the Lenten Season, there are services with imposition of ashes at 12 noon and 7:30 P.M.

Why a Children's Worship Service? The spiritual life of children is of great importance to the family of Saint Timothy's. | | We believe that one's life in Christ begins at baptism and, if the faith journey is well nurtured in childhood, it will continue to grow in richness and depth into adulthood. Therefore, we are especially committed to the spiritual development of our youngest members and, as a community of faith, seek to fulfill our promise to help them grow into the full stature of Christ. | We are aware, however, that small children often have difficulty engaging in an adult worship service. To that end, Saint Timothy's offers the Children's Liturgy of the Word as an alternative, age-appropriate worship expression. This service nurtures the God-given spirituality of our children, teaching them the foundations of our faith and tradition, while addressing their developmental needs. Who is this worship service for? This liturgy is designed primarily for children ages preschool through second grade. However, children of any age who find this service enriching and worthwhile are welcome. Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate, but may wish to worship in the regular 9:00 service knowing that their child(ren) are experiencing an engaging church service designed for them. |

| | | | The focus of our life together is our worship, and Episcopal worship is rich in symbolism and tradition while maintaining its relevance to this time, place and culture. Worship at St. Timothy’s is vibrant and Spirit-filled. It also reflects our belief that there are many ways to worship, pray, express our faith, and | | | connect with God within the framework of the Book of Common Prayer. All services are celebrations of Holy Communion, and each has a distinctive style. We invite you to experience all of them. |
Sunday Morning Worship 7:30 a.m. – a celebration of Holy Communion in a quiet, contemplative style. There is no music at this service. The first Sunday of each month features a Rite I service. 9:00 a.m. – a lively celebration of Holy Communion in a more contemporary style. This service features an intergenerational musical group with guitar, piano, drums, vocals and other instruments. 11:00 a.m. – a sung celebration of Holy Communion in a traditional style. This service features organ, traditional hymns and our Jubilate choir. Wednesday Morning Worship 10:30 a.m. – a quiet celebration of Holy Communion. A healing service is offered on the first Wednesday of each month. A note about children in worship: Children are welcome at all worship services! Resources for their use are available at the back of the church. |
